4-3-2011 Service Elements

We had a lot going on this Sunday. I have been asked many times where to find the message we watched during the Adult Bible Fellowship service in the worship center, so I created a link to it below.
Louie Giglio's Prayer Remix DVD
This is a link to the resources page on Louie Giglio's church website. The DVD contains three messages. The one we watched is the third one titled, "The Prayer God Always Answers".

Now for this Sunday's set list:
"Hosanna (Praise is Rising)" by Paul Baloche (Download in iTunes)
"O God Our Help in Ages Past" by Charles Billingsley (Download in iTunes)
"Mighty to Save" by Hillsong (Download in iTunes)
"Jesus Saves" by Travis Cottrell (Download in iTunes)

There was one video element created for this Sunday that we decided not to use in the service. It is an interview Pastor Jeff did with Nueces County Sheriff Jim Kaelin. It was cut from the service to save time and because Sheriff Kaelin was going to be there on stage live. You can watch it here or check it out on our website, www.yorktownbaptist.org.

All other video elements (excluding background loops and the countdown) are Yorktown originals and are available on our website, www.yorktownbaptist.org.

The First Post

For those who may not know, I am the Media Director at Yorktown Baptist Church, and I have never blogged before. I thought it might be useful to have a place where people could come and see where all the media elements we use in our church services come from. This blog will be used primarily to show a list of the songs we do each week and who performs them, as well as any video elements we use. But that doesn't mean I won't be posting some neat little tidbits of my own along the way. I hope you check back at least once a week to see what's going on with the media in my world.

Elements in the 3-20-2011 service.

Track List:
"God Who Reigns" Travis Cottrell
"Sing to the King" Billy Foote & Cindy Foote
"Hallelujah to My King" Paul Baloche
"Glorious Day" Casting Crowns

All the video elements were Yorktown originals this week and are available under the media tab on our website, www.yorktownbaptist.org.
